Hi is it cheaper to redeem dining credits on character meals and pay for other meals as we go if need be? We have opted for the dining plan but note that it's 1 quick service 1 table and 1 snack per person per day and we are going for 2 weeks. Thanks

    Hi Ashi!

This is a tough question to answer! The reason is because some character meals are buffet and have a set price (i.e. Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, etc.) and even those prices vary depending if you choose breakfast versus dinner. Also, there are different restaurants which offer an a la carte menu that vary in price ranges as well. My recommendation would be for you to make a list of what restaurants you would like to visit and for what meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) and then check the menus and the prices online on Disney Dining. Honestly you could go either way with how you use your dining credits.

    Hope this helps!
