Would it be cheaper to go with the meal plan or not?\

Hello, Brigitte, it's great to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

A Disney Dining Plan package affords you the opportunity to dine at many of the best Walt Disney World Resort dining venues. The good news? You don't have to think twice about the cost because your food has been prepaid and yes, a Disney Dining Plan package does indeed save Guests money. Take a quick look at what a standard Table-Service dinner meal would cost each person for one sitting, and then to that add in what it would cost for breakfast, lunch and incidental snacks throughout the day. For my family of four, a typical day of dining (breakfast, lunch, waters and snacking) without a Disney Dining Plan package would cost upwards of $400.00 a day. I don't know what your eating patterns are like, but in my family, someone is always thirsty, craving those unique snacks and always hungry. Eating at Disney Character meals alone can quickly cover the entire cost of the dining plan for one day. You can easily do the math by calculating what meals cost out of pocket against the cost of a Disney Dining Plan package.

The three most popular Disney Dining Plan packages are the 2017 Quick-Service, 2017 Disney Dining Plan and 2017 Deluxe Disney Dining Plan which fit many different eating patterns and budgets. This combined with any current special offers would save you bundles.

I hope this information helps you decide and wish you a magical vacation, Brigitte.
