Is it more cheaper to buy your princess dress at Disney or to purchase it before and bring with you for the BBB? Also, do they sell pirate costumes for The Pirates League or do most kids go in everyday clothes?

    Hi Kayla,

Thanks for writing!  I'll take part two of your question first.  There are pirate costumes and accessories available for purchase at The Pirates League at Magic Kingdom.  I'd say, based on the three times my kids have had makeovers that it's very common for visitors to wear standard "park gear," rather than a full-fledged pirate costume.  However, you will absolutely find some kids who like to be pirates head-to-toe, and proudly wear a costume along with their makeovers.  Your pirate-in-training will feel comfortable regardless of which option s/he selects.

Regarding Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, in my experience, it is significantly less expensive to pick up a costume at home, on eBay, at a garage sale, etc. then to buy one at Disney.  That being said, the quality of costumes available for sale are fabulous, and if you pick one up for your princess, you'll certainly get a lot of use out of it back at home playing dress-up, for Halloween, etc.  If you are looking to save, by all means bring a costume with you.

    Have a wonderful trip!
