Hi Sophia. Thanks for reaching out to planDisney!
There are often deals to be found when planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Sometimes they are available specifically for
vacation packages, sometimes for room-only reservations, and sometimes for tickets. Before booking, I always suggest that Guests check out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page. If a deal doesn't currently apply to you, check back and something may pop up in the future that fits your needs!
When pricing out your vacation, I would suggest using the
online booking tool to price out some options. After all, you do not need to commit to anything until you get to the payment page! Simply select the dates you're interested in, the hotel, and the tickets, and write down the total price. Then, start over to discover which options are best! Regarding the scenario you proposed, keep in mind that to book a vacation package (tickets
and Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation), you would need to select at least two days of park tickets.
Personally, I am a big fan of split stays. I like to get a feel for different hotels and experience as much as I can on my trips to the resort. I often strategically pick my hotels based on the parks I'm going to visit. For example, I like to stay at a hotel near
Magic Kingdom Park when I'm going to be visiting that park, a hotel on
Disney's BoardWalk when visiting
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge when visiting
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. My husband, on the other hand, does not enjoy moving around. While the friendly Cast Members who work for
Bell Services make it incredibly easy to transfer from one hotel to another (they will transfer luggage to your next resort), he likes to unpack and be settled for the whole trip! So, we mix it up! Sometimes we do a split stay, while other times we stay put. In the end, it's a personal preference and all Disney Resorts Collection Hotels offer free and convenient
transportation services to all four theme parks and
Disney Springs!
Sophia, I hope you have a wonderful winter trip to the resort. It's such a great time to visit as the weather isn't too hot, but it's usually the warm-up we folks from the north need at that time of year! Plus, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is usually taking place around this time so be sure to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements related to this whimsical festival!
If you have any other questions,
please feel free to ask me. I'm always happy to help you reach out and find your happily ever after!
The story comes alive when we look inside,
Matt
