Hey there, Sarah! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for casting your great question in our direction.
Along with all the rides, shows, dining, and shopping, Walt Disney World also offers fun opportunities to experience the Florida outdoors. While I haven’t had a chance to throw a line out while visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, a
guided fishing trip has always sounded like a fun activity, and I’m happy to reel in the information you’re looking for.
I spoke with a helpful Cast Member to get the most up-to-date pricing information for a guided fishing excursion. They shared that a 2-hour excursion is currently $319 and a 4-hour trip costs $529 (prices are subject to change). You can choose from a Sun Tracker Fishing Barge pontoon boat (accommodating up to 5 guests), or a NITRO bass fishing boat (accommodating up to 3 guests). Your excursion also includes:
- An experienced guide
- Rod and reel
- Tackle
- Artificial and/or live bait (NITRO boats do not offer live bait)
- Assorted Coca-Cola® beverages
Excursions can be scheduled for 7 AM, 10 AM, or 1:30 PM. The two AM time slots can be booked for 2 or 4-hour excursions, but only the 2-hour option is available at 1:30 PM.
You’ll be cruising the waters of Crescent Lake if you plan to leave from the
Yacht Club Resort marina. If you are interested in fishing different waters, you can choose to explore Bay Lake, Seven Seas Lagoon, Village Lake, or World Showcase Lagoon by booking your excursion from a different marina. Reservations can be made by calling (407) 939-3474.
Sarah, I hope you find this info useful and that you land a record-breaking largemouth bass during your upcoming visit. Send any other trip planning questions our way. Your planDisney pals are always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
