what is the charity the money is raised for, for the Disney Half Marathon in January. I ran it in 2007 and if I'm not mistaken, I remember it was the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or something like that. Can you confirm please?

Hi Melissa!  There are actually different charities that run in runDisney races.  These are organized by the individual charitable groups.  The one you are probably talking about (Team in Training) is a rather large one and they usually have a big showing at Disney races.  If you are wishing to run for a certain charity, you will arrange all of your travel and fund-raising details through that charity.  While runDisney definitely encourages charity groups to run in their races, they do not coordinate the actual events.  The charity groups will usually have separate dinners, speakers, etc. for the runners during the race weekend.  I think running for a good cause is a wonderful thing to do, and I hope to run with a charitable group sometime!  I hope this helps, and I hope to see you at a runDisney event!
