When charging purchases to our Disney World resort room (with a single credit card on file) using magic bands does the final statement breakdown which adult in the room made each charge so we can divide our expenses accordingly when we get home?

    Hi Gail!

When we book a Disney Vacation Club large villa for our family reunion vacations we want to make it easy for each family to be responsible for their own charges during the trip. When each family arrives they simply set up their own accounts putting down a credit card and listing which family members it is to be linked to. If you are traveling with friends or family that will want their own accounting of their expenses during the vacation it is best to have each person put their own credit card down that links to their own Magic Band. This can be done very easily at the front desk when you check in and don't worry about doing that ahead of time. When you each use your Magic Bands for charging purposes it will link back to each of your own credit cards.

If you do not put separate credit cards down  then all expenses will be charged back to that one credit card that is linked and it will not list things separately. Once you are home it then becomes a huge puzzle as to who charged what and when and where.

Another option is to not charge to the Magic Band but simply charge using your credit card. This means you will have to take the credit card to the parks and everywhere else. Using the Magic Bands alleviates this and you can keep your valuables in the room safe instead of taking them along everywhere you go.
