Hi there, Krista! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
Improvements to the parking areas at the Disneyland Resort are in full swing. To accommodate the multi-year expansion project of the parks and the Downtown Disney District, a new 6,500-space parking structure is being constructed on the current Pinocchio surface lot. However, construction should not have impacted the availability of the electric vehicle charging stations which can be found in the
Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. You might notice some fencing or blocked off areas for construction, but you should still be able to park in a ChargePoint space. If you need help accessing this area, simply speak to a Cast Member as you enter the parking structure. You can also check the availability of the ChargePoint stations at the Disneyland Resort on the ChargePoint website so you can be prepared before you visit.
Also, keep in mind that the area to access the tram to the parks has temporarily relocated. You will now board the tram on the first floor of the parking structure which will provide some delightful shade on those warm and sunny California days. The security checkpoint may have also moved, but there will be plenty of fencing and signs to clearly mark the new path.
I hope this helps! Have a fabulous time at the Disneyland Resort!
