Hello Brisadelmar!
Thanks for sending your question to
planDisney! You must be so excited about your upcoming magical vacation. My little princess and I plan to dine at
Cinderella's Royal Table next month, so I'm well-versed in this restaurant's reservation and payment procedure. Let's talk about the details of your regal feast!
A reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table requires payment in full, including tax and gratuity. At the end of the meal, you'll receive a receipt confirming what you've already paid. If you choose to add a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake during the booking process, you will see the cost of the cake on screen, but you will only be charged for the sweet treat once you receive it at the restaurant. It will be on a separate bill, so you will not have to pay for your meals twice.
That said, I always double-check my vacation charges at the end of each day to ensure everything is going through correctly. I often travel with friends, and we sometimes have different credit cards linked to several
MagicBands in the same hotel room. It can get a little complicated! Did you know there's an easy way to monitor charges during your stay? If you're a Guest of a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection using your
mobile device, Key to the World card, or MagicBand to charge purchases, start by tapping the "My Resort" button on the
My Disney Experience mobile app home screen. Then, scroll down until you see a folder icon labeled "View Charges." In the rare event of a mistake, it's easier to fix when you're still in
Walt Disney World than at home.
I hope this is helpful and that you have a wonderful birthday celebration. Don't forget to pick up a celebration pin at the front desk of your resort or Guest Relations so Cast Members and fellow guests can partake in the special day! If there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make this or future visits even more memorable, don't hesitate to reach out again. Thanks again for stopping by, and have a magical day!
