Theresa from NJ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Will I get charged $10 per person if people in my reservation do not show up?

    Hey there, Theresa!

Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your wondEARful question about advance dining reservations.

Theresa, yes, as part of most Walt Disney World Resort restaurant reservation cancellation policies, you will be charged a $10/per person cancellation or no/show fee if your entire party fails to show up or if you do not cancel your reservation at least 1 day prior to your reservation.

However, as an example, if you make reservations for a party of 6 and only 4 Guests show up, most Cast Members are usually willing to waive the fee for your no-show Guests. Please keep in mind that this is up to the Cast Member at the host stand and that you must let them know when you arrive.

If you know that someone in your party will not be able to make it to your reservation and you are still within the advance dining reservation modification window, you can change the number of your party via the My Disney Experience mobile app or the My Disney Experience website. I encourage you to modify your party's size in advance whenever possible.

Theresa, I hope I have helped answer your question. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!

    Wishing you a Magical Vacation,
