Hi Hayley! Thanks for reaching out to planDisney.
In just a few short months, you are going to be arriving at the
Walt Disney World Resort for a wonderful vacation. So exciting! In addition to all of the classic offerings, some exciting new additions are coming that will be open when you visit in June.
TRON / Lightcycle Run is what I'm most excited about. Located in Tomorrowland in
Magic Kingdom Park, this high-speed rollercoaster looks both exhilarating to experience and beautiful to watch at night. There's also the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival with its
delicious food offerings and
stunning topiaries. Not only that, but you can also experience the return of two nighttime spectaculars:
Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT Forever in
EPCOT. Talk about a great time to visit!
I believe that you referring to the authorization holds that are placed on the credit card on file when you check into your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. At this time, a $100 hold is placed on the credit card on file for incidental charges. If you are charging back to the room using a
MagicBand, the
Disney MagicMobile Service, or by another means, once your charges exceed $100, another authorization hold will be placed on your credit card. These authorization holds will not exceed the current balance due plus $100. It is important to note that at the end of your vacation, you will only be charged the amount that you have actually spent. If the authorization holds exceed the amount you actually spent, the excess amount will be released after you check out. You can read more about the authorization holds on the
Hotel Reservations - Frequently Asked Questions page. Please note that dollar amounts and policies can change and you'll want to check with the Front Desk upon check-in to confirm the details.
Hayley, I hope that you have a wonderful vacation. It'll be here before you know it! If you have any other questions, please feel free to
reach out again. We are always happy to help.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think,
Matt
