Hi Elizabeth!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You absolutely can drop someone off at all of the Walt Disney World theme parks without being charged for parking. Drive to the park entrance of Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, and both water parks, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach (as if you were heading for the parking lots) but tell the Cast Member on the gate that you are dropping someone off. They will direct you to a special drop-off zone close to the park entrance. And if you are picking them up after their day at the park, you just follow the same procedure again. The only difference to this is when you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park. All cars (with the exception of the
Minnie Van Service) have to drop off passengers at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where park guests will then take the Ferryboat or the Monorail to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park. It is worth remembering that all
Disney Transportation - boats, buses and monorails - will take park guests right up to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
