Hiya, Shirley! Thanks for coming back to us at planDisney with another vacation planning question! It looks like your magical adventures are quickly approaching, so let's get down to business so you can focus on making magical memories!
I'm happy to let you know that you are definitely able to charge your meals, snacks, shopping, and any other in-park expenses to your MagicBand or
MagicBand+ as a Disney Resort Hotel guest! This is one of the things I love most about MagicBands - it's so convenient to tap and go! If you'd prefer to pay those charges with a
Disney Gift Card, you can do so at any time during your visit by going to the front desk of your resort to apply the gift card to your room charges. This is a great strategy if you are like me and try to stock up on Disney gift cards leading up to your trip to help budget for spending! I especially love finding deals and discounts on those gift cards - less spending allows for more magic (my husband calls that Disney math!)
As another quick tip, you can combine your Disney gift cards
online to make managing them a little easier! The website allows you to combine up to $1000 on one gift card; and if you have an e-gift card, you can even add that to your Apple Wallet as another payment option! All of these options will make managing your spending more hands-free, and since you're visiting during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, you might need those hands for snacking, drinking, and maybe even painting all around World Showcase!
Shirley, you are sure to have a wonderful vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth! If we can answer any more questions, please
come back and see us again!
See you real soon,
Alison
