We would like to charge to our shared WDW room but differentiate our expenses. Is it possible to either: 1. Put a second PIN on the same credit card linked with the room so as to differentiate the charges or 2. Link a second credit card to the same room.

    Hi Margaret!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!

As someone who's gone on many a girls' trip to Walt Disney World Resort, I'm very familiar with this issue! While I enjoy visiting Walt Disney World with my husband and kids, I also visit at least once a year with a large group of girlfriends. It's great to be able to split the cost of a resort hotel room with friends, but we also want the convenience of using our MagicBands to charge food and merchandise purchases to the room. So as not to have all the charges end up on one individual's credit card, we each have our own credit card associated with our personal MagicBand.

When you arrive for check-in at your resort hotel, you'll be asked to present a valid credit card for additional expenses. Let the Cast Member know that you'd each like to link a credit card to your MagicBands, and they can set that up for you. Each guest will need their own personal four-digit PIN number, and the Cast Member will have you enter the number and test it at the check-in desk. We typically have no issues once our charging privileges have been set up, but it's also a good idea to stop by the desk and asking for a printout of your room charges to make sure.

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
