Can you charge your scooter while on property? Can you park at your hotel when you arrive even if your room is not ready? I have a reservation for 12/09/2025. How do I convert my complementary tickets to park tickets? Do I need to do this before arrival?

    Hi Lynda,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! I’m so happy to hear that you’re planning a stay at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. They’re so much fun and definitely help you stay in the magical bubble.

If you arrive before check-in, you can park in the hotel lots. Just pull your car in, and a Cast Member will direct you to the designated parking area for your specific hotel.

I spoke with a helpful Cast Member at Guest Services, and they shared that there are areas within the parks where you can charge your ECV if needed. I recommend stopping by the Stroller Rental area outside the parks (on the east side). The Cast Members there are usually familiar with the best locations to charge mobility devices. You can also check with a Cast Member at the front Desk of your hotel to hear their recommendation on where to charge while in the hotel.

Since you’re staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you also have the option to rent an ECV for the length of your stay. These rentals can be reserved in advance through Disney’s featured mobility device partner. You can find all the details on the ECV and Wheelchair Rentals page; scroll down to the section titled “Disney Featured Provider.”

You mentioned that you have a complimentary ticket to the park. I recommend reaching out to Guest Services, as they can walk you through how to redeem your specific type of ticket. Guest Services can be reached at 714-781-4636, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM (PST), seven days a week.

I hope this information was helpful, Lynda! As you continue planning your trip, be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog to see what’s coming for the holiday season. I can’t wait to see what offerings will be available for the Festival of Holidays at California Adventure!

If you have more questions or would like tips for your upcoming adventure, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to add a little extra pixie dust to your vacation.

    Have a magical vacation!
