Hi Susan,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to hear that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with family and friends!
It sounds as if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. With a resort hotel stay on property, you can make charges to your room using your MagicBands. First, be sure that each member of your group is linked in your My Disney Experience Account. If each person has her or his own My Disney Experience account, you will need to share plans using the Family & Friends tool. Each person will need to make sure her or his MagicBand is linked in My Disney Experience. If you are planning for everyone, then you will need to make sure all MagicBands are linked and assigned to individuals accordingly. I also advise you to review the
My Disney Experience Terms & Conditions.
Once you have everything linked in My Disney Experience, when you check-in to the resort hotel, you will be asked to leave a credit card on file. It can be the same card you have associated with your My Disney Experience account profile. When making charges to the room, those charges will be associated with each individual's MagicBand. When checking in, a cast member will ask you for a pin number that will be associated with your MagicBand. As members of your party make charges, each guest will need to enter a pin number. For more info on splitting room charges, see this
great answer from my fellow Moms Panelist, Diane! Prior to checkout, review the charges on your room folio. When I review my past folios, I see who made charges to the room in a specific column that says "Charged By."
Susan, I hope this helps!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
