Hi, where can we charge our phones in the parks? Is there another location in Magic Kingdom other than by the Tangled bathrooms? Also where can we charge our phones in Animal Kingdom? We do not want to spend $30 on a charging system. Thanks!

Hello, Esther! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I use my smartphone at Walt Disney World Resort for just about everything. Whether I'm taking photos or using the My Disney Experience mobile app to check wait times, order food, make last-minute dining reservations or book or modify my FastPass+ selections, my battery begins to dwindle by lunchtime! My family and I carry our own small portable charging banks purchased at a local big box store. Each of us keeps one in our bag, and we've found that each is enough to fully charge one phone at least once.

When we find ourselves near an available outlet, we may use our charging cables and power bricks. Unfortunately this means we're tethered to that spot while waiting for the battery to charge. Having your own portable power bank means you can charge anywhere--whether you're standing in line, enjoying a show or even riding on the monorail.

I've seen people use available outlets in the space in the back hall between Club Cool and the Epcot Character Spot at Epcot, near Finding Nemo - The Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, near Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and in the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park, too.

Hopefully these suggestions will keep your battery in the green, Esther!
