Is there a charge for parking at the hotel resorts if you have a valid handicap permit? Thank you. Becky

    Hi Becky,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I hope you're having lots of fun planning for your Walt Disney World vacation! There is always so much to see and do and enjoy with a Walt Disney World vacation, and I'm sure you're looking forward to all the magic awaiting you.

I spoke with the Cast Members at Disability Services and they shared with me that Guests with a valid disability parking permit are currently not charged the standard overnight self-parking fee at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. As an extra measure, since I don't have all your reservation details, I'd encourage you simply to check directly with your Resort hotel to confirm their specific policy.

If you have additional questions on services available to Guests with disabilities, you can contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com.

Becky, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
