I am in charge of making dinner reservations for a group of 40 people ages ranging from 2-80. We will be there over Christmas. I know you have to wait 180 days to make them. When the 180th day comes, should I get up at midnight to make the reservations?

Hi Rose! Ugh, I think you got the short end of the stick when you got the dining reservation job! It can be challenging for a small family getting what they want over a holiday but for 40....yikes!

You do not need to get up at try making reservations at midnight as they won't come on line until the reservation center opens at 7am eastern time. Because you are making such a large number of reservations I suggest you actually call and have a cast member assist you. I actually would be on line making some using your computer and then on the phone with a cast member making others. Often you cannot make a reservation for 40 persons at one time on line and will have to make several for your large group. It is very  unlikely you will all sit together so if you can nab several reservations that have dining times that are within a few minutes you will be doing a great job. Be sure and start with the most difficult ones to get such as Be Our Guest or Le Cellier. I actually suggest you do the Be Our Guest during lunch and not for dinner. Right now you can walk up for lunch and that would be one less tough one to try for.

When the time arrives (usually later in June) I also suggest a Candlelight Dining Package reservation and if you are interested in Fantasmic a dining package for that as well.  Good luck.....set your alarm to be starting promptly at 7am!
