Sylvia from IL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

What is charge for children under 10 for the parks, like disney world? Also does Disney have a no ride fee for adults or seniors? if so what is senior age?

    Hi Sylvia!

Welcome to planDisney!  I see your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is "Just Around the Riverbend" as my friend Pocahontas would say!  How exciting!

Sylvia, Walt Disney World Resort offers a variety of ticket options for guests depending on age, length of stay, and what you want to experience.  Currently, a ticket for children can be used for guests from three years old to nine years old and an adult ticket is available for all guests ten and older.  Little Mouseketeers under the age of three do not require an admission ticket.  You'll find ticket prices vary based on the date and parks you are visiting, so I encourage you to take a look at the options available on the website to see the most up-to-date pricing for your plans.

If you would like to visit more than one park per day, make sure that you are looking at tickets that include a Park Hopper Option.  I find these to be especially useful if you are short on time and want to have a chance to see a little bit of everything offered at Walt Disney World Resort.  It's also important to note that theme park reservations are not required for date-based tickets, but are still required with other types of tickets.

Unfortunately, there is no separate pricing for seniors or "no-ride" adults available.  While this may not be the answer you were hoping for, I'm happy to share that the adults in your party who aren't interested in rides will find lots of entertainment around the parks.  For example, Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to some great rides like Slinky Dog Dash and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, but it also features wonderful shows like Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage!, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, and For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.  Not to mention, my favorite show takes place after the sun goes down - Fantasmic!  Plus, you have fantastic character greetings and dining as well. . .and this is just one park!

In addition, the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival just started which means you'll have the perfect opportunity to enjoy this annual event on your visit!  From the beautiful topiaries to the delicious Outdoor Kitchens, there is so much to explore.  The Foodie Guide is a great place to catch a sneak peek of some of the yummy seasonal treats you'll find around the park.  You can also spend your evening dancing and singing along to the sounds of the Garden Rocks Concert Series!

Sylvia, I hope you enjoy a wonderful visit to the parks!  Please stop by and see us again if you have any other vacation planning questions!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
