Hey there, Julie!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with a fantastic
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.
Oh boy! It looks like you're currently on-site at The Most Magical Place on Earth enjoying a restful stay at a Disney Resort hotel. I can't imagine a more wonder-filled way to spend a holiday weekend! I'd be happy to help you understand your options for
receiving deliveries during your stay-cation.
Julie, I'm happy to inform you that Guests are welcome to have mail, packages, and groceries shipped to their Disney Resort hotel. (My family does this almost every trip!) If you will be there to collect your packages from the deliverer, you will not be charged. However, packages received through the Front Desk and delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room on your behalf will incur a small handling fee. It's also important to note that the Front Desk and/or
Bell Services cannot accept any age-restricted items (like alcohol) on behalf of any Guest. For these deliveries, the Guest must be present at the time of delivery to collect these items in person.
Mail and grocery delivery services add a touch of convenience to a restful Disney Resort hotel stay, Julie. I like to schedule my grocery and package delivery on my family's first full day of our stay. We typically spend most of the mid-day period lounging at our Resort hotel's pool, so it's usually pretty simple to arrange for a delivery at a time that's convenient for in-person pick-up. If it doesn't conflict with your thrilling theme park plans, this strategy will help you avoid any handling fees for package delivery!
Julie, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you a restful remainder of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have any additional questions throughout your visit, you're always welcome to return to
planDisney. We're all ears!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
