Is there still characture drawings done in down town disney? If so, how much do they cost?

Hi there, Natalie, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disneyland Resort adventures are going to be here before you know it, and I couldn’t be more excited for you!

Caricature drawings are a wonderful way to create a unique souvenir you and your family will treasure forever! I double-checked with a Cast Member in Downtown Disney District, and was told that there are currently two locations available for caricature drawings in Downtown Disney. One of them is near The LEGO Store, which is located near the Downtown Disney District Monorail Station. The other is closer to World of Disney, at the opposite end of Downtown Disney District. These locations are subject to change, so if you have trouble finding either one, I recommend checking with a Cast Member.

You can also have caricature drawings done inside Disneyland Park, just across from Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square. I spoke with a Cast Member who told me that currently, the estimated cost of a caricature drawing inside Disneyland Park is $36 per person for a front portrait, and $20 per person for a side portrait (these prices are subject to change without notice). Expect to spend about 20-30 minutes on this experience per person. Unfortunately, I don’t have an estimated cost for the caricature drawings in Downtown Disney District, but I’ve heard from other Guests that they’re typically cheaper than the drawings done inside the park.

Another fun, affordable keepsake souvenir is a hand-cut silhouette done at the Silhouette Studio on Main Street, U.S.A. Not only is it fast (my son and daughter’s silhouettes were done in a matter of minutes!) but it’s so entertaining to watch the talented artist cut your silhouette right before your eyes. Picture frames are also available for purchase in the Studio. I recommend purchasing one for each silhouette and creating a wall collage at home!

I hope this helps you plan your exciting getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please stop by with any additional questions… I’m all EARs!
