    Are characters wandering around Disney world or are they only at the designated areas and dining?

    Hello, Michelle!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am a huge Disney fan and always have a list of characters I want to meet during each Walt Disney World Resort vacation. While many character interaction times and locations can be found via My Disney Experience, you never know when a favorite character may appear without notice. We have seen many characters in the parks that have not had scheduled appearances. For example, on our last visit we were dining on the patio at Tony's Town Square Restaurant when Penguin from Mary Poppins appeared right outside the restaurant to greet Guests. My son was so excited to meet such a fun character from one of his favorite films.

    Keep your eyes open because you never know what magical moment may be just around the corner! Please visit us again should you have other questions! We are hEAR to help!
