How many characters do you typically see on a cruise? We are sailing on the Wonder to Alaska in a couple of weeks. Since we have the Pixar Pal party instead of the Pirates, do the Pixar Characters also sign items you drop off to have signed?

Countdown to your magical cruise, Laurel!

A couple of weeks from now, and you'll be dancing and grooving at the sail away party to head out on your adventure to the last frontier. Be ready for some pretty spectacular sights and sounds -- picturesque spots are bountiful on this voyage, so make sure you always have your camera handy.

As with any of the Disney Cruise voyages, the characters on board are subject to change at anytime. You'll have plenty to spot around the ship and during meet and greet sessions throughout your trip. It's always different on each cruise, so I suggest taking a look at the Personal Navigator each day to make sure you have a good idea who is making certain appearances and where. Your Personal Navigator will be delivered to your stateroom each night by your stateroom host/hostess. It gives you an idea of what activities to expect for the following day. It might be a good idea to bring some colored highlighters with you. Every night, each of your family members can have their own color and highlight the different activities that they'd like to check out for the following day. For meet and greet sessions, it is advisable to show up at the venue early, since there could be a line - and for the popular characters, you can expect to wait a little bit.

if you drop off an item (up to 2 per stateroom) at the Guest Services desk on embarkation day, you'll get it back on your last night, nicely signed by various characters. It's an awesome souvenir, and it's always a different set of character signatures - it's never the same either. Don't forget to include a few of your favorite colored markers too. You'll have a unique, and free, special souvenir to remember your Disney Wonder voyage to Alaska.

Wishing you a spectacular trip, Laurel!

    Bon voyage,
    ~ Dolly
