What are the characters for Tusker House and Cape May Cafe? We have res. for 1900 for dinner and Crystal Palace but do not want to double up on meeting of characters. It is a short trip but DD2 and DD6 love the characters:)

    Hi Connie,

Character dining is such a fun part of the Walt Disney World experience. Since your daughters enjoy the characters, this is a great way to ensure that you will meet many of them. It is important to remember that all character appearances are subject to change.

At Tusker House Restaurant, you can enjoy Donald's Dining Safari Breakfast and Lunch, where you may meet Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey Mouse dressed up in their safari gear. At Cape May Cafe, you can enjoy the Beach Club Breakfast Buffet, where you can meet Goofy, Donald Duck, and Minnie Mouse dressed up in their beach attire. At Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare, you are the honored guests of Cinderella and Prince Charming. At Crystal Palace, you are likely to meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends, including Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger.

I do not think that adding Tusker House or Cape May Cafe will overlap characters that you already have. However, Cape May Cafe and Tusker House do offer similar characters, so you may want to choose one of those two. To decide which, first consider the type of food that you are interested in. Breakfast at Cape May Cafe is traditional American fare. At Tusker House, you can enjoy both African-inspired cuisine as well as traditional American fare. Also, Tusker House is in Disney's Animal Kingdom, whereas Cape May Cafe is at a resort, so you will need park admission for Tusker House but not for Cape May Cafe. Finally, you can meet characters at breakfast at both restaurants, but if you want to meet characters at lunch, that would need to be at Tusker House. I have eaten at and enjoyed both. If I were to choose, I would probably choose Tusker House because I enjoy trying new cuisines.

I hope that this information helps with your decision, Connie! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
