Welcome back to planDisney! WOW we sure share some of the same favorite characters! I adored Treasure Planet AND The Great Mouse Detective when I was growing up!
Michael, *you got the makings of greatness in you, but you gotta take the helm and chart your own course* because Treasure Planet and The Great Mouse Detective characters are not currently meeting at Walt Disney World. Jim Hawkins and B.E.N. have been spotted in parades at Disneyland Paris, but I’m sad to report that they have not been seen in the Sunshine State yet. You can always watch the Disney World social media pages, as sometimes they’ll include some exciting updates when new characters make their big debut!
*No one can have a higher opinion of you than I have* because you have such incredible taste in characters, Michael, and I wish so deeply that I could have some better news for you in regards to unique character meetings. The best way for you to see who you’ll be able to meet is by opening the
My Disney Experience App, selecting the location icon at the bottom of the screen, toggling over to the “Characters” option, and then selecting “Show List” at the bottom of the screen. This will show you all of the Characters you can meet within the parks! You’ll be able to see some more characters in
parades and cavalcades at the theme parks as well.
