Hi, Kaitlyn, and thanks for stopping by with your question!
Those characters have a way of capturing your heart, don't they? They definitely embody the magic that is part of every Walt Disney World vacation. As you may have guessed, the pandemic-related
updates have altered the typical character interaction; autograph signing is not currently available in the theme parks or resort hotels. There are, however, a couple different ways that you can still engage with those favorite Disney faces.
You can still get a glimpse of the characters in each park. Magic Kingdom's
character cavalcades parade Mickey and his pals through the park each day for spontaneous fun. Similar celebrations take place on an unscheduled basis each day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom,
Epcot and
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Another way to see those beloved Disney faces is by reserving a character meal. These experiences feel a little bit different than they have in the past. Instead of stopping at each table for photos and autographs, the characters parade through the restaurant, waving, blowing kisses and making merriment from a safer distance. One of my personal favorite character meals takes place at
Garden Grill in Epcot. Not only will you enjoy seeing the characters while you dine, but you'll also get a revolving view of
Living with the Land while you feast on some fabulous fare.
I hope that information helps you plan a magical vacation for your family, Kaitlyn!
