    Are characters still signing autographs?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Chalonda! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

It's only natural to want an autograph when you spot a big star, right? And I can't think of any bigger stars than Cinderella, or Donald Duck, or even the big cheese himself - Mickey Mouse! I'm looking forward to the day when we can finally see our favorite pals up close again, but as Walt Disney World continues implementing safety measures, in-person greetings and autograph signings are still on pause for now.

But fear not, Chalonda! You'll still be able to see your Disney friends around the theme parks! Look for them as they whisk by on a float in a colorful cavalcade or flotilla, where you can wave and blow (masked) kisses from a safe distance. And be sure to keep an eye out while you're wandering the parks! You never know when you might spot a familiar face perched on a balcony or romping on the grass. It's such a fun surprise to glance up and suddenly see a character waving to you!

I'm sure we'll be able to get hugs from our pals again one day soon, but until then, I hope you have fun searching them out in the parks. Thank you so much for stopping by to see us, Chalonda, and please come back again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
