do the characters still sign the kids autograph books at the character dining meals? I heard that they just hand out signature cards now?

Hello Krysia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Character Dining at a Walt Disney World Resort Dining Location is an excellent way to maximize your time and a must for little ones looking to meet a lot of Disney Characters.

On our last Walt Disney World Resort vacation in late August 2017, we dined with Cinderella's entire family at 1600 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. In fact, my little boy is now betrothed to Drizella, Cinderella's step-sister. Before that, we were able to get autographs from all of the Fab Five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto) at Chef Mickey's during our April 2017 visit.

During Character Dining, I have never personally experienced Characters handing our Signature Cards. In fact, the only times I ever receive Signature Cards for any Character Experience in Walt Disney World Resort is for characters whose "paws" make it difficult to hold a pen, like Beast .

We bring an autograph book and marker pen for all of our Character Dining Advanced Dining Reservations. Unless things have changed in the last 2 weeks, I would expect to still be able to do the same.

    Bon Appétit!
