    Will characters like Jafar and the mad Hatter, abu and queen of hearts sign autographs at Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party

    Well hello again Nick, it's great to see you back here at planDisney!

    It sounds to me like you're a fellow Character Connoisseur, and if you're anything like my husband the opportunity to meet one of our rare friends at Special Ticketed Events makes attending that much more worthwhile! It looks like you've asked our Panel for some advance intel and insight about acquiring autographs during these evening events, or rare folks like Indiana Jones as well as Phineas and Ferb and I'm happy to help see what I can find out for you from our friends in Entertainment:

    • Foolish Mortals attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have the opportunity to spot many more character pals both silly and spooky over the course of the evening - but not all of them will be able to sign autographs for guests. I've personally observed these characters signing autographs at Disney Destinations in the past (the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts both have distinctively wonderful ways to sign), however depending on the setting it's important to remember that though they can, there's a chance that the situation won't necessarily allow them to do so for a variety of reasons. 
    • What I highly recommend ahead of entering any queue to meet anyone is to always ask the Character Attendant (distinctively dressed in bright blueberry-toned shirts) whether you can expect an autograph from one of our friends, and they'll be able to let you know whether or not it is possible. This is always subject to change and can never be guaranteed; for example when I met Abu on one occasion the Character Attendants let me know that Aladdin was still "teaching him how to write his name" so it's always worth asking ahead to avoid any disappointment.

    It would be a great idea to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as possible on the evening of the event (attendees can currently enter as soon as 4:00 P.M.) and seek out the Character Attendants so they can give you an idea of who might be showing up soon - especially if they alternate with others in the same location.

    I know this isn't the most definitive answer that you might be hoping for Nick, but from my personal experience living and hanging out among our Disney Character pals for years I can say that they'll do their best to make sure you have great moment when you meet them - autograph or not.
