Hi Regina and welcome to planDisney!
Character dining at Walt Disney World is such a great way to meet some of your favorite characters and have a great meal at the same time! We are huge fans of Lilo & Stitch, so the Best Friends Character Breakfast at
'Ohana in
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a favorite stop of ours. My daughter can't get enough of the Stitch waffles!
Chef Mickey's in
Disney's Contemporary Resort is the perfect location to visit with Mickey Mouse and friends. We used to dine there for birthday celebrations when my kids were younger since there's something on the buffet for everyone to enjoy. At Chef Mickey's, you will meet with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy and Donald. (Characters are subject to change, but we have seen the Fab 5 on every visit.) The characters come to each table for photos and autographs, so you can just get comfortable where you are. They rotate from room to room, so you'll know if it's a good time to head to the buffet to grab food if you don't see them around. The servers also typically give you a heads up when they are getting close to visiting your area.
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance of your visit.
You will see Minnie Mouse during your meal at Chef Mickey's, but if you're looking for her at other locations, she can be found at
Red Carpet Dreams in
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Pete's Silly Sideshow in
Magic Kingdom Park. She meets with Mickey Mouse in their safari outfits at
Adventurers Outpost in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and she's also with Mickey Mouse in their 100th anniversary outfits at
Pixar Short Film Festival in
EPCOT.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
