Do characters dress up in table service restaurants during MNSSHP? I'm not sure yet if the Crystal Palace is open during the party in 2018 yet, but if I get an ADR for between 4 and 7pm is this outside 'party' time anyway?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Although Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is absolutely amazing and stuffed to the gills with lots of not-so-spooky Disney fun, based on my past experiences, the characters at various Disney dining locations in Magic Kingdom Park, such as The Crystal Palace, don’t “dress up” for the occasion. In fact, I’ve found that my experience at most table service dining locations in the Park are the same during Party times and non-Party times.

If you’re planning to attend the Party and you’d like to dine at Crystal Palace, I’d recommend booking your dining reservation before the festivities start (yes, during that 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm window you mentioned), to make sure you don’t miss a moment of fun!

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
