Are the characters doing autographs now or still aren’t?

Hi there, Tiffany. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit us with your question for us.

I'm delighted to see you'll be heading to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few days! Due to the pandemic’s impact on park operations, some well-loved entertainment and services at Disneyland Resort remain suspended or modified. This includes our beloved Characters signing autograph books. During my recent visits to the Happiest Place on Earth, I did not witness this unfortunately. However, there are still many Characters throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park who are cheerfully greeting Guests from a safe distance and posing for the cameras. In many locations, there weren’t even lines; Cast Members said we could just step right up when ready and take our socially-distanced photos. One of my favorite locations is Hollywood Backlot Stage in Disney California Adventure Park; we enjoyed snapping selfies with Minnie Mouse dressed in Spider-Man attire! My family and I also appreciated bantering with Loki in Avengers Campus as well.

Tiffany, as you get ready for your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to write us again if you have more questions. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
