Which characters can the children choose?

    Hi David,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. There are many experiences that children - and adults! - can have with characters at Walt Disney World.

First, there are character meetings at all of the Walt Disney World theme parks. Here are links for character experiences and entertainment at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. There are certain characters that appear at certain theme parks, so do check which park has the characters that you are wanting to see.

Another great way to meet characters is with character dining. When you dine with characters, you skip the lines to meet the characters in the theme parks. As you dine, characters will come to visit your table. A couple of my favorite character dining experiences are The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, where you can dine with Winnie the Pooh and his friends in a beautiful Victorian setting, and Chef Mickey's, for a chance to dine with Mickey Mouse and his friends in their chef gear at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I do recommend that you make reservations early if you want to experience character dining as it can book up quickly. You can do so using the link I provided, or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). Please note that character appearances are subject to change.

I hope that this answer provides the information that you wanted, David. Please do feel free to ask any further questions that you may have about the planning of your magical vacation!
