Hello there, Madison!
Thanks for stopping by the hungry acre wood – er, I mean Hundred Acre Wood, with your great question for our planDisney team. Your vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort is quickly approaching, so I hope this means you are anxiously planning these important details to secure
dining reservations for your trip. I also have a visit planned around that time and just made a reservation for
The Crystal Palace this morning! It’s one of my family’s must-dos, so I’m happy to share my recent experience and what you can expect.
I’m pleased to say that
yes, our beloved characters from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh are back and celebrating a Friendship Day Celebration with you for all meals at The Crystal Palace. This gorgeous restaurant inside
Magic Kingdom Park offers a sprawling breakfast buffet with stunning views of Cinderella Castle and all the cuddly character hugs you can handle! You're sure to get the day off to a wonderful start with this special experience.
My son is in middle school now, but breakfast here was his request for our most recent family trip. He says he’ll “never be too old for Pooh Bear” so of course we continue to make this a family tradition. We love to snag the earliest reservation available before crossing the bridge into Adventureland and heading to some favorite attractions later that morning. My son adores the churro-flavored Mickey shaped waffles, and I can’t get enough of Pooh’s puffed french toast to satisfy our
hankerin’ for just a smakerel of something sweet. If you can’t get a table for
breakfast, they also offer the same character experience for
lunch and
dinner.
Your family will enjoy time with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet during this meal. In addition to a personalized table-side meet, the children are also invited to join in a parade around the restaurant to celebrate Friendship Day together! Please plan for up to 90 minutes here to fully enjoy the experience, including as many returns to the buffet as you’d like. This fall, we’re bringing my mom to the Walt Disney World Resort for her first visit since I was a child; Tigger is her favorite so I can’t wait to see her give our old pal a familiar hug at our breakfast. These special moments in a beautiful setting, enjoying a delicious meal together, is what a Disney vacation is all about.
I hope this has you excited for your upcoming visit and perhaps a
rumbly in your tumbly, too! Please let us know if you have any more questions as you put together the details of your trip. We love to share our tips and experience to help you have the most magical vacation ever!
T-T-F-N (ta ta for now),
Amy
