Here ye here ye! We welcome Gary to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as he proclaims his plans for a royal celebration at Walt Disney World for the holidays! (Imagine trumpet fanfare added here for extra effect!)
Seriously, we are thrilled to hear of your upcoming vacation plans to the Most Magical Place on Earth. With all the brilliant decorations and festive atmosphere for the holiday season, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year!
Just as Disney is developing its plans for the phased reopening and what that looks like, Prince Charming and the Royal Court are still working on the plans for
Cinderella's Royal Table. Based on everything I have seen to date, there will be a temporary pause to all character meet and greets when the
Theme Parks reopen. But what that will look like in December during your visit is hard to predict. So much can change in six months' time!
My hope is that very soon, we will see characters make their grand entrances back to the ball and be able to interact more closely with guests, including that much cherished one-on-one time with the Princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Some of the most magical moments were when my kids poured their hearts out to their most beloved characters during character meals like Cinderella’s Royal Table,
Crystal Palace, and
Chef Mickey’s.
While we all hope the Fairy Godmother will wave her magic wand and cast a spell to enable more character greetings, you can keep tabs of all the developments in the kingdom via the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Experience Updates on the Walt Disney World website; they are the perfect fit when it comes to current information.
Gary, we are here for you for all your planning needs. You might say that the clock never strikes midnight when it comes to answering questions at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m wishing you a marvelous time at Cinderella’s Royal Table and a storybook ending to your Disney vacation.
