Hello Stacey! Your visit is getting so close! I'm excited for you to see some of your favorite Disney characters!
While traditional character meet-and-greets are temporarily on hold, there are still plenty of opportunities to see characters and even get a photo with them in proximity to you! The best places to see characters are in the Disney Parks, at your Disney Resort Hotel, and at Disney Character Dining experiences!
Disney Characters can be seen at various cavalcade appearances that magically pop-up throughout all four of the Disney Parks! While specific times are not advertised, these special moments happen rather frequently! During a recent visit to
Magic Kingdom Park we experienced three cavalcades just by chance! I spoke to a nearby Cast Member about other cavalcades and she was kind enough to mention when we would have a good chance to see Mickey come through the park on his cavalcade! I got some great pictures of my kids as Mickey and Minnie waved to them from their float! These cavalcades also go at
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and at
Disney's Animal Kingdom!
We were also pleasantly surprised when we were walking through Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and came within a few feet of Goofy and Pluto! They were there to make sure their Guests were having a great vacation! Recently, Disney Characters have been seen far more frequently at the
Disney Resorts Collection of hotels!
Finally, there are plenty of characters hosting special dining experiences! Mickey, Minnie and their pals host breakfast at both
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort and at
Topolino's Terrace at Disney's Riviera Resort! Chip and Dale can be found having fun with Guests at
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT! Also, at
Hollywood and Vine, in Disney's Hollywood Studios, Guests can experience Minnie's Seasonal Dine! Minnie's favorite guy has also been known to make an appearance to support his favorite gal during this lunch and dinner dining experience! When Minnie isn't hosting lunch and dinner, Vampirina hosts the Disney Junior Play n' Dine for breakfast!
