Are there character meet and greets at the Braves spring training games or do characters only appear on field? Thanks!!

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm sure your exciting plans for your next Walt Disney World vacation are well underway and looking great!

Is there anything that happily screams "Welcome to spring!" like basking beneath a warm Florida sun watching the Atlanta Braves Spring Training at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex?

Yes, I know, you are very likely wanting to stand up and do the wave and shout "Of course! Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival screams 'Welcome to spring!' "

And, of course, you'd be right.

But back to baseball and your question.

Our friends at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex did hand signal a bit about the fun that unfolds during the Atlanta Braves 2019 Spring Training schedule. Our Disney Character friends will make appearances to add some of their playful magic to the game nights. While I don't want to spoil any of the excitement, I can share that the Disney Characters will take the field during the game festivities and activities. They typically spend their time on the ball field as compared to the types of Character experience meet-and-greet moments that you'd see in the theme parks or at a Character Dining experience.

This is sure to be an exciting Spring Training Season for the Atlanta Braves, as it's scheduled as their final
Spring Training at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Jennifer, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

Now get ready for some peanuts and Cracker Jack and home runs. And play ball!

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
