Are there any character meet and greet spots at Epcot (non meal places)? Trying to plan the surprise of my parents showing up to DW for the kids. We were going to have them stand by a character and then do a video phone call to the kids.

    Hi Shawna,

That sounds like a fun idea!  There are several spots where characters can be found in Epcot.  You can meet Daisy and Stitch near the front entrance, continuously throughout the day.  Mickey and his Friends can be found in a meet and greet area across from Innoventions West.  That's probably your best bet for making your video call.  Out of respect for other guests, I recommend you make your call as quickly as possible.  Maybe practice a few times at home, so you know exactly what you're doing when its your turn to meet the characters - actually have the call cued up as you move along in line.

You can also meet Duffy the Disney Bear right at the entrance to World Showcase.  Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, and Mary Poppins can be found in the United Kingdom Pavilion.  Princess Aurora, Belle, Beast and Marie (Aristocats) are seen in France Pavilion.  Aladdin & Jasmine frequent Morocco.  Snow White can be seen in Germany, and Mulan is found in China.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
