What character meet and greet meals do you have for boys? Age 8. He doesn't want to do Mickey, donald, ect.. He would like something different, his request was Tarzan, Power Rangers, are there any like that?

    Hi, Deanna!

Oh, what my 8 year old wouldn't do for a character meal with Buzz and Woody!  The character dining experiences are limited to most of your good old Disney pals:  Mickey, Donald, Princesses, and those sill chipmunks Chip and Dale!   For a complete list of character dining locations, click HERE.

If your Mouseketeer does not want to dine with any of those characters but still wants something fun and different, here are a few restaurants to try that my 8 year old loves:

Hollywood Studios:  Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, 50's Prime Time Cafe, and Pizza Planet (quick service)
    Wilderness Lodge:  Whispering Canyon Cafe
    Epcot:  Teppan Edo
Magic Kingdom:  Cosmic Rays (quick service)
    Animal Kingdom:  Rainforest Cafe

I hope you find some restaurants that your son will enjoy!  There are many great locations, so pick some fun places and make your Advance Dining Reservations online or call (407)WDW-DINE.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
