    Character meals-I Know limited (going in Aug) & from a distance. I am trying to find out when ressies can be made-I understand with Covid-things have changed with when to reserve. Split stay: Fort Wilderness-week then AKV (no park stay-DVC)

     Thanks so much for sending me this question, Denise. I'm thrilled to help you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

     My family and I just love Character Dining Experiences. What could be better than a delicious meal and the company of beloved Disney Characters, right? We always try to include at least two or three of these unique dining experiences in our vacation plans. It's become a tradition for us to have a reservation at Chef Mickey's on our arrival day. Visiting with our pal Mickey Mouse is the very best way to kick off our Walt Disney World Resort vacations, and we've made many priceless memories at this special restaurant!

     To answer your question, Disney Resort hotel Guests may begin making dining reservations up to 60-days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days). Your booking window for online dining reservations will open up at 6:00 AM when you reach that 60-day mark, and I recommend being ready to book that early in the morning. The earlier you start booking, the better availability you'll find!

     At this time, Character Dining Experiences are available at Chef Mickey's, Garden Grill Restaurant, Hollywood & Vine, and Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. My family and I can't wait to experience Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera during our upcoming stay at Disney's Riviera Resort. The prix fixe menu looks incredible!
