What character meals do you suggest for a 4 yr old girl? Its been a long time since we have taken a little one :) thanks!

    Renee:

Character Meals provide a timely venue to visit multiple characters without standing in line in the parks, not to mention some surprisingly delicious menu offerings. Although you won't miss with any Character Meal when it comes to a 4-year-old girl, here are a few to consider:

    • A Princess Meal: If you're looking for a splurge and willing to make your reservations 180 out, look at Cinderella's Royal Table. An 8 a.m. breakfast reservation gets you in the park before the crowds for some spectacular photos. At CRT, you'll be meeting several princesses, not just Cinderella. If you want to meet princesses without paying the hefty price tag of CRT, consider Akershus at Epcot. However, their traditional Norwegian fare may not be to everyone's taste, so look at its menu before booking.
    • Mickey and the Gang: My children's favorite place to see Mickey along with Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald is Chef Mickey's. We typically book the latest breakfast so we can take a break from the Magic Kingdom mid-day and save a few dollars enjoying breakfast instead of dinner. Chef Mickey's books up quickly. If you find that you can't get a reservation, look at Cape May Buffet at the Beach Club which features Minnie but not Mickey or Mickey's Backyard Barbecue at Fort Wilderness. You can't beat its all-you-can-eat hot dogs and hamburgers PLUS Mickey bars.
    • What she's currently "into": There's a character meal for many genres. Your daughter enjoys Winnie-the-Pooh? Book Crystal Palace. Is she up on the latest Disney Playhouse Junior Characters like Princess Sophia? Check out Hollywood & Vine. I recommend going to the www.disneyworld.com site and choosing the Character Dining box under "Things to Do/All Dining" to see all of your choices.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
