Hi there, K! Welcome to planDisney!
As the Genie would sing,
Disney has your restaurant, and I'm your maitre d'! In your question, tell me what you want—you ain't never had a friend like me...at planDisney!
Oh, K, I wish I could grant your wish for a character dining location with outdoor seating, but unfortunately, there aren't any that I know of. Florida does have its fair share of rain and heat, so character dining is typically held indoors. However, as your Genie in a bottle- planDisney panelist, let me share some of my favorite character dining options with open spaces and a few restaurants offering outdoor seating that may suit your plans.
If you're looking for bright sunshine, The
Crystal Palace is a fantastic Winnie the Pooh character dining location, featuring many large windows that let in plenty of natural light.
Chef Mickey's, located in Disney's Contemporary Resort, offers an airy feel as it is situated in a large atrium. While Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is indoors, this rooftop restaurant at Disney's Riviera Resort has a lovely outdoor patio where you can enjoy stunning views of Walt Disney World Resort.
Now, K, if you're eager to dine al fresco, you have many great options. Consider
Nomad Lounge,
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge,
Casey's Corner (which sometimes features an
outdoor pianist), and one of my new favorite spots—
Woody's Lunch Box. I recently spent some time at this outdoor location with fellow panelists McCayla, Kriss, and Sami, and we enjoyed the unique atmosphere of Toy Story Land! These are just a few options!
I hope these recommendations help as you hop on your magic carpet and travel to Walt Disney World. We are all ears when it comes to food in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Stop by planDisney anytime as you make all your plans. We love helping you find the perfect magical bites. Follow us on
