It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kaye! I'm so glad that you came here today to ask about
Character Dining experiences because I think they're one of the must-do experiences for families at Walt Disney World Resort. Your girls are the perfect age to enjoy meeting Disney Characters and combining that experience with a great meal is the best way to do it!
If your girls are fans of the
Disney Princesses, a meal at
Cinderella's Royal Table will be something that they'll never forget. They'll get to dine inside
Cinderella Castle and meet Cinderella herself before you're seated, and she'll send her royal friends to come greet you and take pictures while you're eating your meal. Another regal meal I really love is the
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at
Trattoria al Forno. It's the perfect way to kick off the best day ever with Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel, and Prince Eric! You'll get to meet some Disney Characters that you can't always find inside the Theme Parks and the breakfast menu is really unique and delicious. Plus, the restaurant is walking distance from the International Gateway entrance of
EPCOT and it's really easy to get to, especially if you're staying at a
Resort Hotel that has access to the
Disney Skyliner!
Speaking of Resort Hotels, they happen to be home to some of the best Character Dining experiences and no Theme Park tickets are required to dine there! The Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at
'Ohana is a great choice because it's family-style so the food comes right to your table. If you want more of anything, you only need to ask and a Cast Member will bring it!
1900 Park Fare at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has two really unique Character meals with the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast featuring Mary Poppins, Alice, The Mad Hatter, Winnie The Pooh, and more, and at dinner, you have the chance to meet Cinderella and Prince Charming along with Cinderella's scheming Stepmother and Stepsisters! This meal is perfect if you're spending the day at
Magic Kingdom Park because you can hop on the monorail when it's time for dinner, and when you're done you can take the short ride back to the Theme Park and get a great spot to enjoy
Happily Ever After together. The menus for all the restaurants I mentioned today, as well as every other restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort, are
available to browse online so have a look and see which ones your family might like best!
Have a magical day, Kaye!
