Hello, have many character meals booked and wondering if I need them all. If i do Tusker house do I still need chef Mickey to see Minnie? Also have CRT for dinner do I still need akershus for bkfst? Thanks so much, would be lost without you all!

    Hi Rosa,

Thanks so much for your kind words!  We on the Disney Parks Moms Panel love helping you to plan magical vacations.

Character dining is such a great way to meet characters at Walt Disney World.  It is so nice to enjoy a meal and have the characters come to you!  Each character meal is a unique experience.  If you think that your family will enjoy meeting characters, keeping many character meal reservations is probably a good idea.  Character meals do take a bit longer than typical meals.  If you think that your family would rather eat quickly and head out into the theme parks, then possibly canceling a couple of your character meal reservations would be a good idea.

Remember that at the different locations, the characters are often dressed differently.  For example, at Donald's Dining Safari at breakfast and lunch in Tusker House Restaurant, the characters typically appear in their safari gear.  At Chef Mickey's, even though some of the characters may be the same as at Tusker House Restaurant, they will be in their chef apparel at Chef Mickey's.  At meals which feature princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, the princesses who appear may be slightly different.  Also bear in mind that all character appearances are subject to change, so if seeing the most possible characters in the most possible outfits is a priority for your family, you might want to keep all of your reservations.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions, Rosa!
