Julia from NJ Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

What character meals would be best for a 2 1/2 year old girl. We will be in the parks for 3 days and plan on visiting Magic Kingdom 2days and Animal Kingdom 1day. Will you also suggest the best things to book for out Fast Passes. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julia! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. Julia, there is so much to see and do for little ones all throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. For these little tykes, the magic is absolutely real.

I remember visiting The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom where my princess got to meet one of her favorites, Winnie the Pooh. She got so excited she started jumping up and down in pure delight. The joy on her face was priceless. I have the most precious pictures from that day. If your little one is a Pooh fan, be sure to consider making an Advanced Dining Reservation at The Crystal Palace. Another great choice is Chef Mickey. Located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and a quick and easy monorail ride from Magic Kingdom, Chef Mickey is the best place to enjoy a meal with the Fab Five- Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald! At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Tusker House will be your place to go!

For FastPass+ reservations, these are my personal recommendations. But be sure to browse the attractions and read the descriptions to see if you think your little one will enjoy them or if there is something else they might prefer! At Magic Kingdom I recommend FP+ for Peter Pan’s Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, It’s a Small World, and Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and the new attraction at Pandora- The World of Avatar, the Na’vi River Journey which the entire family can enjoy.

Keep in mind that once you redeem your initial three FP+, you can browse additional available FP+ and reserve more throughout the day. And be sure to locate the Baby Care Centers at all four theme parks! I hope you have a magical time with your little one. ~Emille
