Any character meals besides CRT that are not buffet? Celebrating my son's birthday and he is not into princesses. But my husband will not eat at a buffet. Any way to make them both happy. Thx for all the great advice. Luv the board

    Hello Kimberly!

First, let me wish your son a very magical upcoming birthday from all of us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite places to celebrate.

Now, on to your question. It just so happens that one of my favorite Character Dining Experiences is not princesses, nor is it a buffet. My family adores The Garden Grill. Our kids love that the restaurant slowly rotates and who doesn't enjoy dining in the company of Farmer Mickey, Pluto and Chip 'n' Dale? (Characters subject to change.) Best yet, your hubby will be happy that it is not a buffet restaurant, but rather a Family Style restaurant. This means that rather than there being one communal buffet, individual "family-sized" portions are brought out separately to each individual family/table. Also, the food is amazing. Much of it comes from the Living with the Land greenhouses right below the restaurant!

Have a wonderful vacation, Kimberly. Please let us know if you have any other planning questions or concerns we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,
