We would like to do a character meal with our 3, 5, and 9 yr old. Our 5 year old boy is very timid so we'd like to find a meal that is less crowded and less overwhelming for a shy kid--perhaps one with more "human" characters. What would you su

    Hi Joann!
A few years ago I went to Disney with my then 2 year old son and my 1 1/2 year old cousin. They both hesitated every time a character approached them. We thought this would continue throughout the trip. On our third day we went to The Garden Grill Restaurant at Epcot's The Land for dinner, which include Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale. The restaurant is less crowded than other Character dining experiences I've had. At first the kids were afraid to approach the characters, but after a while they both went up to them, high five's and everything! Chip even kept "eating" my sons blanket, which made him lose the fear. After that, we got pictures with every character we could.
Pixie dust and magical wishes for you and your family during your trip!
