When I have a character meal how much time should we a lot for the meal. I want to make sure I don't overlap any fast passes with dining experiences.

    Hey Regina!

I am so excited you will be taking in a character dining experience while at Walt Disney World. In my opinion character dining is the best (and most relaxing) way to interact with your favorite characters.

I like to plan for at least 1 1/2 hours when attending any character dining experience. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy your meal and let all the characters cycle by your table.

When it comes to planning your FastPass+ selections around your dining remember that all selections will give you a one hour window to arrive. Therefore, consider looking for FastPass+ selections that begin their one hour window while you might still be dining. For example, if you have an 8:00 a.m. Advanced Dining Reservation, which will likely last until 9:30 a.m., you could look for FastPass+ selections beginning at early at 9:00 a.m. depending on how far away the attraction is from where you are dining.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about your dining options or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
