Some character experiences like Buzz and Woody are "ticketed events", what is a ticketed event and how do I get a ticket?

    Hi Jennifer,

The magic for you begins in a few days. I can't imagine the excitement. Your trip is so close, and so many exciting experiences await you. Be ready to Awaken Summer at Walt Disney World Resort!

A Ticketed Event is a special experience that requires separate admission. Examples of these are Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in the early fall, and later in the year, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

There are two new such experiences during this summer. Disney Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland, and Disney Early Morning Magic - Disney's Hollywood Studios both let you experience a few of your favorite attractions and character meet and greets, with a delicious breakfast, and early access to the Theme Parks. It's an excellent way to get a head start and skip the lines. You can still Meet Buzz Lightyear & Woody at Pixar Place throughout the day. Make sure you check the Times Guide to check at what time they'll be ready to see you.

One last tip: make sure you download the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will help you with all your planning, including Theme Park hours and attraction wait times. See you real soon!
